The present study was conducted to identify the factors influencing groundnut market linkages in Karnataka. The primary data were collected from 150 market stakeholders from the top groundnut markets in Karnataka. The collected data were analysed by correspondence analysis (CA) to fulfil the objectives of the study. The study concluded that distance coverage, telecommunication facilities, electronic auctions, and electronic weighing were significant factors for market linkages in Yadgir, Challakere, and Chitradurga districts. Similarly, for Kottur, Laxmeshwar, Raichur, Mundargi, and Gadag markets, the influencing factors were the price of the commodity, distance coverage, commission and brokerage, transportation facilities, and storage facilities, respectively. The study suggested that improvements and upgrades in road connectivity and conditions, as well as infrastructural facilities in the market area, including the construction of new warehousing facilities and storage structures, would benefit groundnut farmers.
