Household amenities encompass a range of essential services such as clean water, sanitation facilities, healthcare services, and education, all of which contribute to a better standard of living and overall well-being. By utilizing data from the National Statistical Office's Multiple Indicator Survey (NSO-MI) report for the NSS 78th round in 2020-21, the study aimed to unravel the complex interplay between various socio-demographic variables and access to essential amenities within households. Moreover, it conducts a comprehensive comparison between rural and urban areas, evaluating districts that excel in amenity provisions for both rural and urban sectors. It also explored the resultant implications for households. The observed disparities can be attributed to various socio-economic factors, including income disparities, educational opportunities, and geographic locations.
