About the journal

The Society of Economics and Development brings out the Indian Journal of Economics and Development (ISSN 2277-5412, EISSN 2322-0430, and DOI Prefix 10.35716) is a multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed/refereed quarterly journal of economics and development studies. The journal provides a forum for creative and scholarly work in the field of economics, applied economics, agricultural economics, natural resources, consumer issues, agribusiness, and all fields of finance closely related to fields of economics, rural development, and so on, with the ultimate aim of expanding knowledge of the subject. The articles should relate to one of these areas, be problem-oriented, and demonstrate originality with a focus on theoretical, applied, interdisciplinary, and methodological work, with a strong emphasis on realistic analysis, the use of empirical evidence, and the construction of policy.

Editorial Policy
All papers are double-blind refereed. The authors should expect to receive two referee reports.
